Vaping Christians - Support, Inspiration, Prayer Requests

Good evening, my friends!

I had the distinct pleasure of getting to know a wise, very devout, learned (and very human) individual on another forum, that, upon his departure, entrusted me to continue a thread that he started.
He envisioned it as a place that Christians could share, request prayer and support one another. I could never take his place, but I do my best to continue on in his spirit. Out of respect, I have kept the name the same here on BDAU and hope that I can, in some small way, do justice to his intentions.

Each day, I will post a link to a daily prayer and invite others to do the same.

ALL Faith's are welcome and I'm fully in favor of debate but, please, no attacks on someone else's beliefs- that's not what this about. This is about people, unafraid to profess their faith, supporting each other, posting inspirational messages and, when needed, requesting prayer.

Holy God, teach me to treat every person with the pure love of Christ. Do not let me hate any person, but to forgive them when they sin, and to disregard every external attribute that prejudices one person against another. For we are all your children, equally loved, although we be sinners all.
And bless those who hate and those who are hated, especially from prejudices against attributes of birth, or appearance, or ability, or any other worldly feature that divides us from one another. Comfort and bless those who suffer such discrimination and do not let them fall into Satan's trap, but give them always a spirit of sincere and pure forgiveness, as Christ forgave those who tortured and murdered Him.
And reform those who say words or commit acts that hurt others; if it be your will, let them see their sin and grow to hate it. Call them to your Spirit and let them be reborn in love and humility through the power of Christ, in whose name I pray,
Amen.

Absolutely I would be cool with that!
And I look very much to following your posts. I consider myself a Christian (Pentacostal, to be specific) in the practice of my faith but my relationship with my Higher Power is much more personal and individual- very spiritual in that respect.
I kept the name the same out of respect for Fransiscan from VU but, if you don't mind posting in a 'Christian' thread, you're always welcome to share your quotes here.
Or not.
Either way, you will be neither stepping on my toes or offending me.
It's refreshing and affirming to see someone willing to express their beliefs.

I'm glad ya joined us, bud!
It seems prayer not only works but works FAST! God has already answered the prayers for Blessing in our home search...
Last night, my wife came home from bible study with great news. The pastor that runs the group also flips houses (something we didn't know) and approached her after the meeting and asked her if she knew anyone looking to buy a house.
Ummm... yeah.
He is in the process of completely redoing what could very well be our dream home- 4 bedroom, 2 full baths, huge kitchen, formal dining room, family room and den, a 12x10 office, 2 car garage with a workshop, privacy fence... you name it.
When he told her where it was, her first thought was that it would be way, WAY over our budget but the number he gave her was exactly what we were looking to spend.
Non-believers will say that it's just coincidence but I see it as prayers being answered.
We knew going in to our search that there would likely be compromises because everything on our wish list was almost double our budget.
Out of the blue, we're offered a better home than we could have hoped for at a price that we can comfortably afford in a beautiful neighborhood...
Coincidence?
Not in my book.

Since becoming active on this thread and the one over at VU, we've seen you draw closer to God, your friend Sean make wonderful progress toward better heath and our prayers for a home answered.
Most of the time, God answers 'No' or 'Not yet' or blesses us in ways that we can't foresee at the time but it's truly wonderful and humbling and inspiring to witness prayers being answered in such a positive and undeniable way.
Looks like I'm going to be spending my time in joyous prayers of gratitude.
Not a bad way to spend my day...
