Wood burning artist/pyrographer Cecelia Galluccio of Massachusetts makes incredible utilitarian objects.

I've been wanting to get a good set of hand gravers for metal. I see these things burned into wood, and I think----- I want to also hand-carve metal in addition to applying patterns via stamping, milling, etc.

I am not creative...but my husband is. Intarsia is one of his many talents with wood. He made this as a wedding gift for an Asian friend of ours.

And he made this to hang in his office.

Evaporator coils. Take away the label and plastic. Thinking of stitching silver with copper wire.

I didn't realize there was so much copper in an air conditioner. People throw them out in the trash! I'm a dumpster diver, btw:)
